SCENE 2

Never work with children or pets…

For this part of the assignment, get a partner, or two in this case, and place them 6ft in front of a tree. The purpose of this assignment is to demonstrate depth of field like in the set above, but there is an added bonus. You also have to get your subject matter to stand still, especially if you’re trying to shoot on f22 and on a tripod. Hence the awkward framing in this shot. —>

Reflection

Even though the light is gorgeous in this scene, I prefer the image with the narrow depth of field, isolating my subject from her background.
