Assignment 8

Still Lifes

For this assignment students have a choice between different ways of presenting still-lifes. I’ve selected a few from previous classes as the best representations of these options.

Graduate Students

Graduates could choose 1 of the following 3 options:

1. A set of 2 "Flat Lay" still lifes with a unifying theme. OR

2. One still life in the Dutch style of Vanitas. It doesn't have to be as comprehensive as some of the work that we've presented in class, but I do expect to see some symbolism in the still life that you create.  OR

3. One still life that represents something significant in your life. I'm thinking of pets/people/events, if you had to do a dissection of that subject, what would we see?
